Project: 11" x 17" Self Portrait Poster
Course: Santa Monica College - GD 31
Project Information: The project was to create a self-portrait in the style of a particular era or person. I chose David Carson, whose aesthetic is defined by the "grunge" era.
The concept of this piece came from my interpretation of a self-portrait. Instead of a traditional frontal face illustration, I chose to base it on my identity as a christian. I photographed myself looking upward guided by the strategically composition of elements.
